Above is further research into the many different types of bolts and screws avaliable, in tappered shanks and non-tappered shanks. My job is to change the boring pages of text into visually engaging information. Here ive simply been highlighting the bolts from the screws, these will need catagorising under whether they are tappered or not.



Above ive been looking at how lots of information can be presented in a clear way thats also visually interesting. Catagorising data and visually explaining the information is going to be a hard task, hence looking at examples above.


For my screw and bolt catalogue ive begun looking at grid and layout. How text should and can be set on a page. Looking at compositions that visually are interesting but also present order and hierarchy.
