Rather than having all the illustrative background the shoe is brought into context, something which i prefer as a design. The cool colours still give the brand that 'trendy, cool' feeling.

The adidas designs give the text a lot of space. It isn't the key area on the page.The design highlights the shoe itself, trying to make it look 'trendy' The illustrative background tries to highlight the contemporary element of the shoe.

Since my new written brief is based on a publication advertising a brand of shoes i've begun to look at how other shoe brands advertise themselves in publications.
