Heres some rather abstract comical photography which i feel ours will be very similar to. I don't think the composition is as well thought out as on the black and white photography, if we put the two elements of humour and well considered photos together we'll have something good.




Above is some amaing black and white photography, love the varied perspectives, the compositions are great. Each photo is thought out throughly, which is the kind of care we will have to take.
Since the idea has now changed from being something type based to photo/image based, im going to start looking at photography of music and humerous photography which is the tone of voice we're striving for.

Below is a whole heap of research ive digged up from 40's, 50's 60's onwards. The most recent posts are a bit more specific. Im only looking at album covers relevant to the british music experience, looking at the artists that we may be designing our posters for. Specifically looking at the type thats used on the album covers since our posters are to be type based. Putting the type into context is key in showing the era correctly.

Pains me to look at them but heres art work for take that, boyzone and spice girls, all bands which the British music experience show
